Ryan is originally from Texas and graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 2004 with a degree in management. Ryan also has a Master’s degree in organizational leadership from the University of Oklahoma. After undergrad, Ryan served in the U.S. Air Force where he served in the Special Operations community and Pacific Air Forces with assignments in Charleston, SC and Anchorage, AK. Ryan was honored to serve in combat in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Ryan separated from the military in 2016 and went on to work in leadership and mentoring roles at United Airlines and Amazon. Moving to the Nashville area in 2020, Ryan’s last role was a manager and team lead at Amazon Logistics.  

Ryan joined the team at Compass in early 2023. Ryan and his wife Jenna live in Franklin, TN where they are active members and volunteers at Rolling Hills Community Church. Ryan and Jenna have three children: Wyatt, Emma Kate, and Annabelle Joy.

Ryan has a passion to serve clients both locally and nationally by serving others and helping clients create experiences for their personal and business interests. Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, working out, and anything with sports and outdoors.
